Tools and Equipment Fundamentals SkillsCheck for Skilled Trades is designed to evaluate core knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.
This SkillsCheck assessment evaluates the knowledge and abilities required to select, use, and maintain tools safely and effectively including:
- Identification and use of common hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers, clamps)
- Measuring and layout tools (levels, calipers, squares, and gauges)
- Fastening and gripping tools (wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers)
