About This SkillsCheck
Welder Level 2 SkillsCheck is an intermediate assessment aligned to the Canadian Red Seal Occupational Standard for intermediate apprentices and welders developing Level 2 competencies.
This SkillsCheck assessment evaluates intermediate welding knowledge, skills, and abilities and includes key competencies including:
- Welding mathematics and metallurgy
- Print reading and fabrication processes
- Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
- Quality assurance and inspection techniques
- Wire feed welding processes
